Prof. Ahmed Samir Hosny

An academic career with international training

Prof. Ahmed Samir Hosny has extensive experience in vascular surgery, endovascular interventions and diabetic foot care. He is a Professor at Kasr Al Ainy Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University — the region’s oldest and most prestigious medical school.

He completed a fellowship in peripheral endovascular interventions at Kiel University, Germany, an aortic surgery fellowship in Cologne, and an International Master’s in laparoscopic surgery in Catania, Italy. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
